The simplest multimedia player!
VSMP stands for Very Simple Multimedia Player and it is
a very small, light and easy to use music/video player, plus
image viewer. It supports all multimedia files as Microsoft's
Media player does, however it doesn't require Media player to be
installed, since it is based on codec's.
Most modern multimedia
players consume a lot of system resources just to play a single
file. If you are like me and the only thing you want is simply
playing media files, then VSMP is the program you need.

(play, pause, stop, seek, playlist, volume control, full
screen view etc).
VSMP is created to replace the old
multimedia 2000 player
The program uses codec's to play media files. If you don't have
installed codec's in your system, I recommend installing K-Lite
Download the suitable package from this site:
Tip (windows NT4, 2000, XP, Vista and 7): Even if
after installing the codec pack the program refuses to play, try this tip.
Open regedit and go to the key:
Search for the entry "MPEGVideo". If it doesn't exist create it
(string). Either way make sure the value of that entry is
set to "mciqtz32.dll".

Attention: VSMP is not associating any media files by
default. You must associate them with the program, manually
(from windows "open with" dialog). This will change in next
VSMP (version 1.4) - English
